Machine descaling acid

 

Introduction

In areas of excessive hardness, the minerals which occur naturally in the water may form white deposits

called scale. The scale can blocks jets and generally interfere in the dishwasher’s cleaning process. Scale

can also form on other equipment such as bain-maries and urns. When this occurs, the equipment must be

descaled quickly and safely using M.D.A.

 

Features and Benefits

1. MDA acts quickly and efficiently to remove, in one operation, all hard water scale from commercial dishwashers, bain-maries and urns.
2. MDA is inhibited so that, when used as directed, attack on metals in the dishwasher is eliminated.

 

Use Directions

For use in descaling commercial dishwashers

• Fill wash tank with a minimum of 1 to 2 litres of MDA depending on scale build up.
• Operate machine for 2 full cycles then dump wash water.
• Refill dishwasher, run full cycle and dump water again.
• Refill dishwasher ready to wash.

 

For use in descaling bain-maries and urns:

• Add a minimum of 1 to 2 litres of MDA to the water, depending on scale buildup.
• Allow to soak until the scale has been removed.
• Empty the water and thoroughly rinse with potable water.

 

Hazard

MDA is classified as HAZARDOUS according to the criteria of Safe Work Australia and is classified as a

DANGEROUS GOOD according to the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.
